About Foinse

Foinse exists to give businesses and institutions a single, considered point of access to contemporary art—connecting the right work with the right space through independent advice, thoughtful curation and trusted relationships.

We believe placing art well is a considered, deliberate act—not a purchase. It should mark the beginning of a long-term relationship between people, place and artwork.

Our advisory services

Foinse Is An Independent Advisory Practice

Independence is structural, not a claim.

We do not represent artists exclusively, nor are we a gallery. Where an artist is represented, we work in partnership with their gallery—never around it.

Every engagement begins with a conversation about the space, the people who use it, and what the artwork needs to achieve.

The relationship doesn't end once an artwork is placed. We continue to identify works that may be relevant to existing clients as their spaces, needs and collections develop.

The Foinse Philosophy

Every recommendation we make is tested against the same six principles. They are how we arrive at a considered judgement rather than a matter of taste.

How we work

Context

Every recommendation begins with an understanding of the space, the people who use it and the purpose it serves. Art should belong, not simply occupy a wall.

Quality

We seek work of lasting artistic merit—pieces capable of rewarding repeated viewing long after first impressions fade.

Conversation

The strongest artworks invite curiosity and discussion. They enrich workplaces by encouraging engagement rather than decoration alone.

Longevity

We favour work that will continue to feel relevant as organisations, interiors and people evolve over time.

Authenticity

Original work carries the presence of its maker. We believe authenticity creates a deeper and more meaningful connection with a space.

Emotional Impact

Every artwork influences how a place feels. We consider emotional response as carefully as colour, scale and composition.

Why?

Four questions come up in almost every first conversation. These are our answers.

Request an introduction

Why contemporary art?

Because contemporary art reflects the world we live in today. It brings relevance, curiosity and fresh perspectives to modern organisations.

Why businesses?

Workplaces shape culture. Thoughtfully placed art can strengthen identity, support wellbeing and create more memorable environments.

Why independent advice?

Independence allows every recommendation to be made in the client's best interests, free from the obligation to promote particular artists or inventory.

Why original work?

Original artworks possess presence, craftsmanship and permanence. They create lasting relationships that reproductions rarely achieve.
